In 2018, Eran and I crossed paths in Brussels during a triple bill show that brought together bands from Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. From the moment we met, it was clear we shared a deep musical connection and a similar artistic vision. Recognizing this synergy, I invited Eran to join me for a recording session in Brussels. What started as an impromptu collaboration quickly turned into a powerful creative moment, with us recording and filming our first musical intervention.
That session marked the beginning of a lasting friendship and artistic partnership. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of performing together in countless venues around the world, each performance strengthening the bond between us.
Collaborating with Eran brings out a side of me that I don’t often have the opportunity to explore. His intuitive approach to music, combined with his boundless curiosity and willingness to venture into new territory, has inspired my own passion for the delicate balance of structured and improvised composition. Together, we create a sound that feels at once sophisticated and deeply personal, blending jazz, folk, and pop with lyrical intimacy and sonic sophistication.
Recording at the legendary Studio 2 in Heuvellaan Hilversum (former MCO), established in 1931, added an extra layer of depth and meaning to our project. Its warm acoustics and rich history as a center of European music broadcasting made it the perfect venue for a high-resolution live jazz recording. The studio’s legacy shaped our performance in profound ways.
Partnering with Sound Liaison, a label known for One Mic+ high-resolution audio recording, was a natural choice. Founded by Frans de Rond and Peter Bjørnild, the label focuses on capturing live acoustic sound with stunning clarity, perfectly aligning with our artistic goals. The result is a recording that is both intimate and immersive, presenting the full range of our musical expression with audiophile fidelity.
This project blends our creative synergy, the acoustic magic of Studio 2, and the technical excellence of Sound Liaison. It is not just music—it’s a shared experience between artist and listener, rooted in honesty, craftsmanship, and connection.

Working with Claire unlocks a side of me that doesn’t surface in my other projects. Her fusion of lyrical ambience and pop sensibility draws out the folk-inspired jazz guitarist in me. Together, we tell stories through music—stories shaped by improvisation, emotion, and detail.
Over the years, we’ve performed everywhere from intimate living rooms to grand stages, constantly evolving our sound. Our most memorable moment came during the Sound Liaison One Mic+ Session, where every nuance was captured with pristine resolution. Listening back, I hear not just notes but feelings, subtle dynamics and harmonic layers brought to life through precision mastering.

What drew us to Claire and Eran’s music was their fearless experimentation and emotional authenticity. During the session, we often couldn’t tell what was composed or improvised—that’s how seamless their connection is. They blur genre lines, incorporating jazz, folk, funk, world, and electronic influences into a uniquely cohesive sound.
This is genre-defying jazz at its most melodic, adventurous, and emotionally rich. A true hybrid of spontaneity and structure.
